LD2451H - Questions

Dear Sirs,

I have a few questions regarding the module:

1 - What is the model of the output connector?

2 - In the serial command: 43 46 01 01 00 05 0d 0a

Note 1: 0x01 represents the lower speed limit (1 km/h). If set to 0x01, speeds below 1 km/h will neither be detected nor sent to the output.

Question: Can I set any minimum measurement speed—for example, 40 km/h or 60 km/h?

Note 2: 0x00 refers to the angular compensation—the angle between the central axis of the radar beam and the direction of the target's (vehicle's) movement. The factory default is 0x00. If set to 0x0a, the compensation angle will be 10 degrees.

Does "angular compensation" refer to the angle shown in the figure below?

Question: What is the maximum compensation angle that can be configured?

3- In the serial command 43 46 02 00 01 00 0d 0a

Note 2: The higher the value of 0x01, the lower the number of speed measurements per second.

0x00 - corresponds to 22 frames per second
0x01 - corresponds to 11 frames per second
0x02 - corresponds to 5 frames per second
0x03 - corresponds to 2 frames per second
0x04 - corresponds to 1 frame per second

4- In the serial command 43 46 04 00 00 00 0d 0a

Note 1: Configuration range 0x00 - 0xFF; default value is 0. Defines the duration (in seconds) for the optocoupler output when the speed value exceeds the configured limit.

The output pin is pin 1 (pulse) or pin 2 (AA).

thanks

Hello, thank you for your enquiry. pls kindly check following reply:

  1. It is USAR, TTTL3.3V level output, and outputs hexadecimal characters.
  2. Yes, if the speed of the incoming vehicle is lower than the set speed, it will not be detected. But the radar will continue to report data, reporting data that cannot detect the target.
Sure, but the specific speed range is 1-240km/h, and the maximum compensation angle is 90 degrees
  3. Yes,confirmed

The first question is what the connector model is—not the interface; I need to make a 1-meter-long cable, type JST PH ?

question 4: what is the output signal for the optocoupler—the signal from pin 2 (AA) or the signal from pin 1 (pulse)?

thanks

Hello, Following are the supplement replies to above two questions, pls help to check:

  1. This is our connector model:
  • 1.25mm(P=1.25mm)
    -Needle position: 1 × 8P, single row, 8 needles
  1. Yes, pin 1 is a high-level effective output, and pin 2 is a low-level effective output pin
